An empty Coors Field awaits his first fans of the season under a Colorado blue sky day for the Colorado Rockies season and home opening game Wednesday 30 March 2005. The Rockies estimate they will serve 22,000 hot dogs, 6000 Rockie dogs, 3,000 bags of peanuts, 1500 gallons of soda, 1500 cotton candies, 1100 hamburgers, 1000 bags of popcorn, and 1000 bags of Cracker Jacks during the opening day game against the San Diego Padres.
